THE YANNICK AND BRETT SHOW AT THE MEADOWLANDS

-- Justin Horowitz Media Relations Manager, Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- March 4, 2017 -- Yannick Gingras and Brett Miller combined to win nine of the 12 races at the Meadowlands on Saturday night with Gingras winning five and Miller four.

Miller took home the biggest prize of the night, piloting multi-millionaire Clear Vision to an open lengths win in the $18,000 featured event for upper level conditioned pacers.

Miller took no prisoners from the beginning and put the Jennifer Lappe trained 11-year-old right on the front. He blazed away through a half mile in :54.4, three quarters in 1:22.3 before drawing away to win by five lengths in 1:51.3. Alberto Contador, who had won back-to-back Big M starts earlier this winter was second. 6/5 favorite Rockeyed Optimist was third.

Miller teamed up with trainer Amber Buter for a pair of dominant wins with City Hall and Dateline Hanover. Gingras’s five wins included a pair for leading trainer Ron Burke.

Jim Marohn, Jr. won two races including the Dash For the G-Notes series final with Prince Palani.

Marohn also won the finale with P L Idaho that helped one lucky ticket purchased through the Oregon Hub hit the Jackpot Super High Five for $52,744.

Total handle was $2,581,495 on the 12-race card.

Live racing resumes next Thursday with a 9-race card. It is the final Thursday program of the season. Post time is 7:15 p.m.
