TRIO OF GREEN ACRES FINALS GO TO ROLAND N ROCK, QUICK AINT FAIR & DON’TCALLMEFRANCIS

MANALAPAN, NJ – October 17, 2015 – Three offspring of the late Rocknroll Hanover – Roland N Rock, Quick Aint Fair and Don’tcallmefrancis – swept a trio of $25,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes – Green Acres for pacers on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Freehold Raceway.

Two of the three – Quick Aint Fair and Don’tcallmefrancis – were bred by Stephen P. Dey III of Allentown, NJ while Roland N Rock is a product of Perretti Farms of Cream Ridge, NJ.

Roland N Rock [$2.60] was a two and three-quarter length winner over Artsmah [Western Ideal] in the third race for three-year-old pacing colts and geldings. Edward Teach [Rocknroll Hanover] was third by four lengths.

Roland N Rock

Daniel Dube drove the winner for trainer Rob Harmon. Roland N Rock paced the mile in 1:52.3, only two-fifths of a second off the stakes record.

Owned by Duane and Connie Roland of Grinnell, IA, Roland N Rock posted his seventh win of the year and has finished in-the-money in 10 of 13 starts in 2015 for earnings of $107,705 toward a career bankroll of $191,150.

Quick Aint Fair [$4.60], driven by George Brennan for owner-trainer Christopher Ryder of Allentown, NJ, rallied for her third straight victory, finishing a length ahead of Cheyenne Robin [Rocknroll Hanover] in 1:55.2 in the fifth race division for three-year-old pacing fillies.

Quick Aint Fair

Smart Zone [Rocknroll Hanover] was third by a length and three-quarters.

Unraced at two, Quick Aint Fair has five wins, two seconds and four thirds from 18 starts for earnings of $83,696.

Don’tcallmefrancis overcame an outside journey to win the sixth race, the split for two-year-old pacing colts and geldings, in 1:57.1.

Don'tcallmefrancis

It was a career best for the Nifty Norman trainee who races in the name of the Enzed Racing Stables of Allentown NJ.

Irish Joe Haney was at the lines as Don’tcallmefrancis [$5.00] got up for a one and three-quarter length win over Lissilas [Rocknroll Hanover]. Rock N Roll Style [Rocknroll Hanover] cut the fraction and held on for third, five and a half lengths back.

Don’tcallmefrancis has three wins, two seconds and one third from seven starts and two straight trips to the winner’s circle, banking $40,458.
