POST POSITIONS DRAWN FOR FILLY BREEDERS CROWNS

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—November 15, 2014 -- Post positions for the $500,000 freshman Breeders Crown filly pace and trot finals and the $593,750 3-year-old filly pace were drawn tonight at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

Elim winners, in an order determined by lot, are then placed in the draw for post positions 1 through 5.

After those are drawn all other post positions are drawn for the remaining eight horse.

Mission Brief and Wild Honey were heavily favored in their respective elims, paying just 60 cents on the dollar to their backers. Mission Brief, from the Burke Stable, went first in the shake and got post five. Wild Honey then drew post two.

Undefeated filly JK She’salady extended her winning streak to 11 while Heart Major was placed first after an incident-plagued elimination race that ended with winner Ideal Nuggets set back to sixth for interfering with Well Hello There and fifth placed finisher Happiness placed seventh for multiple pylon violations.

First in the draw was Heart Major, receiving pill number 5. JK She’salady then got post 4.

Color’s A Virgin continued her march towards divisional honors, making short work of an elimination race that could have passed for the Crown final. The Jugette winner was first in shake order and drew post five. The other elim winner, Gallie Bythe Beach, drew post four.
