FEES FOR WESTERN IDEAL & CAM’S CARD SHARK REMAIN UNCHANGED IN 2010MANALAPAN, NJ – November 24, 2009 – Two of Hanover Shoe Farms most successful pacing stallions of 2009 – Western Ideal and Cam’s Card Shark – will remain at their same stallion fees in 2010.
Western Ideal stands for $15,000 and Cam’s Card Shark at $7,500. Both are based at Hanover Shoe Farms Inc. of New Jersey in Lambertville.
Of Hanover’s 10 stallions, the New Jersey-based horses have each contributed nearly $11 million toward the 2009 total of $79,463,464 through November 17. Cam’s Card Shark’s offspring have earned $10,851,204, thus far this year, while Western Ideal’s have banked $10,685,425.
Broken down by age, the Western Ideal two-year-olds have earned $1,098,674 [$10,365 per foal] and the Cam’s Card Sharks a similar total of $1,019,729 [$10,197 per foal].
The three-year-olds by Western Ideal have banked $4,924,560 [$52,389 per foal] and those by Cam’s Card Shark $3,120,339 [$26,444 per foal].
