SBOANJ Golf Outing

The primary mission of the SBOA of New Jersey is to assist the members of the standardbred horse industry here in New Jersey.  One way we strive to accomplish this is through our Horsemen's Benevolent Fund, which offers financial assistance to horsemen and women who have fallen on hard times.

We are able to provide this assistance in large part because of the success of our Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser.  In 2015, the SBOANJ Board of Directors decided that in addition to raising money for the Benevolent Fund, we will also allocate a portion of the Golf Outing proceeds to support TrotPAC, the Standardbred industry political action committee.  TrotPAC played an interracial role in the appropriation bill that will provide $10 million annually over five years to the New Jersey Standardbred Industry and purse accounts. We need your help to continue supporting and convincing legislators how important our industry is to persevering and keeping open space in New Jersey.

There are several ways in which you can participate in this worthwhile program.  You can put together a foursome and enjoy a fun day on this beautiful golf course.   You could be a sponsor, which, depending on the level of sponsorship, would entitle you to rounds of golf and prime advertising space in our program.  Or you could donate items or services that we would use as special event prizes or give-aways.

Can't make it to the event?  Please consider a donation to help support these very important and worthwhile programs.
