2020 Resident Mare Program/2021 Rebates
The 2020 resident mare rebate program will pay up to $500 ($100,000 cap) to the owner of a mare bred in 2020. In order to qualify, the mare need not be bred to a New Jersey stallion but must reside in the state for 150 days up to and including foaling. Turn in your application when the mare is pronounced in foal. Deadline is October 31, 2020. Proof of foaling in New Jersey via USTA registration is required. Deadline is October 31, 2021
Applicant must be a current member of the SBOANJ.
Application is not a guarantee of rebate. The SBOANJ has the right to void any application it deems fraudulent or does not provide proper documentation. No late applications will be accepted.
A current W-9 form must be on file with the SBOANJ in order to receive payment.
Important update: The SBOANJ will make every effort to honor these programs. However, due to the impact of the Coronavirus on our horse industry, these programs may be modified or suspended in the event the money may be needed to support our horsemen and women.
